Before you go all defensive no matter how you sugar coat it "oh its his imagination" it brings up bad memories, emotional scars and bad thought of victims or their families. This is what Reprar is trying to point out but because it is your project your are being blind.
Also grow up seriously your just throwing shit and hoping some sticks. If he was obssessed he would need to go see a psychiatrist not a doctor as you pointed out.
(# 2) on 03/10/2008 06:59
But one good thing came of this. We found out that the reason Reaprar hates you is apparently he's does not think Nazis are horrible creatures.
Seriously Reaprar, WTF?
And for the record, I think the Call of Duty and Medal of Honor games, or any games that make war "fun", are sort of tasteless.
That goes for war movies as well.

Lubernard - but you know Life is Beutiful has been criticized for trivializing the holocaust - and Pans Labyrinth is a cert 15 (in the UK at least). When you say 'children' what are ages are you thinking ?
(I would have used GRave of the Fireflies ... and maybe Maus as starting points for presenting this sort of thing to children)

However - I can recognize satire when I see it. There is some sarcasm or irony or even parody meant to be included ? I suspect you were exaggerating for comedic effect.
I see we do no know the word exagerrism, good work indeed.
(# 7) on 03/10/2008 07:57
You see my main concern (as a parent) is that you may have a game suitable for 10 year olds, with additional content suitable for 14 year olds.
(# 8) on 03/10/2008 08:03
Sorry your game is getting blocked Luc, but it doesn't surprise me sadly. I find it a bit ridiculous that games where pointless violence is the main selling point (IE Manhunt 2) are perfectly fine, but titles like this are too controversial. Hopefully you can rework it for another platform.
(# 9) on 03/10/2008 08:19
I just notice you said this,
"In case you were retarded"
Unbelievable.
You use a word which insults disabled people and yet pretend to make the moral high ground !! Even mentioning handicapped children.
You're just an attention seeking hypocrite.
(# 10) on 03/10/2008 08:22
I wouldn't mind checking it out to see what the hubbub is all about.
(# 11) on 03/10/2008 08:28
This does suck :(
(# 12) on 03/10/2008 08:45
I can see why Nintendo wouldn't want to put out the game, but I disagree with them. If they wanted to protect the chilluns, they could slap on a 16+ rating and be done. I also don't want to pass any kind of judgment on the game without either an indepth look, or actually playing it.
(# 13) on 03/10/2008 08:56
Yes, I read the comments, as I have for every other time you've gone batshit over this game in one of Luc's cblogs. You're trolling.
(# 14) on 03/10/2008 09:06
Unlucky Luc but trying to get nintendo to release this was always asking alot. You should/should've asked around smaller developers to take it on.
You could always release it as an intergame at somewhere like newgrounds and ask for donations to be made, atleast that way its sure to get to the public.
(# 15) on 03/10/2008 09:06
Here's your solution Luc: release it on PC, and 5 people will play it, just like if it came out on DS. Game, set, match.
(# 16) on 03/10/2008 09:10
Also, I admire Luc's attempts to bring this to the DS, and I want to support it any way I can, even if it's a fruitless attempt to get the dinosaurs at Nintendo to accept the changing roles of videogames.
I would seriously attempt courting other platforms though.

Okay... So?
Doesn't change anything I said. :p
(# 19) on 03/10/2008 09:40
Look at advance wars: days of ruin. There is a whole lot of death and dark overtones in that but I bet plenty of 12 year olds play it. I guess its just that the holocaust is still such a touchy subject (for good reason of course) that such a game just seems too "controversial".
(# 20) on 03/10/2008 09:55
No doubt you have no qualms about calling someone a "jew" if they are mean.
I think this is a very worthy subject for a game. I have serious doubts that you have the knowledge or sensitivity to do it justice. I hope (for everyone's sake) I am wrong.

In the same way I assume when people argue with you, you will painstakingly go through every single one of their points, and also point out spelling error.
I'm sure if you find the term genuinely offensive, Luc would be more than sorry. It's not cool to make a big issue out of a very minor part of the whole denbate.
(# 24) on 03/10/2008 12:13
Nazi's are not horrible creatures. They're humans which did bad things. Judging them as creatures is narrow-minded, arrogant and simply foolish. Some joined out of fear, some out of support, but either way they are people who did the wrong thing. Go up to a German WWII veteran and call him a horrible creature, see how he reacts.
But I totally side with the Child's imagination. How would you see them if you were in that situation? How about the PSP Luc?
(# 25) on 03/10/2008 13:27
Grow the fuck up.

(# 27) on 03/10/2008 16:37
Anyway, i hope things work out for the best
(# 28) on 03/10/2008 18:37
This is why I hate the mainstream media. They change things to fit their own agenda and leave the control out of the people. It's bullshit...
Seriously Luc, if you need anything, I support your ideas.
(# 29) on 03/11/2008 01:20
Seriously man, if you've already got as much of the game planned out and worked on as it seems, releasing the game via PC would be piss easy, and profitable, and you'd have a huge available audience.
