Since well, we realised from what people currently think of the videos of the game in action that it isn't good enough.

Well we were going to have it finished this month but now I will say that it will be finished when the gamers like it.

So I will be posting updates often to see what people think. And what should be changed etc...

I know that well the animation so far people did not like, so we are currently working on that.

This post will be updated tommorow probably.

Take your time, please. Give us something fun for our WiiWare. Anything's better than that game where you pop bubbles. WTF kind of game is that?

Knees FTW.

Other than that, the animation looked spot on.

And Reaprar, did you just actually encourage Luc Bernard?

Glad to see your willing to put extra time into it to give the best possible product. Seriously any critisum I give I'll try to make in constructive. I hate just saying "This sucks", ya, you will probably never seen me do that.

Admirable move Luc! I haven't seen the video myself, but I'll say again, it refreshing and bold the type of criticism that you're subjecting your work to.

Is anyone doing a making of for this game, documenting the process? I think it would be fascinating to see in a narrative medium (film documentary, ficionalized retelling, etc).

I guess I'm in the minority but I liked the style of animation; reminded me (like Jim) of something like Terry Gilliam stop motion animation but mixed with sort of 20s german neoexpressionist shit (aka cool gothy early 20th century shit like woodblock prints and what not). The lack of sound output for game input (or what seemed like game input) was killing me though... maybe we've all been too trained by Mario, but if my little guy jumps without that 'boooooing' it just seems wrong...

(EDIT: expressionist, not neoexpressionist. ok i shut up now.)

Reaprar, it's good to hear you haven't yet written off good old Luc. More so, your future criticisms of his projects will now carry more weight now that you've established that your dislike of the Luc's projects isn't personal.

For a second there, I thought you'd gone Nazi on the poor guy. That didn't seem like the Reaprar I know and love.

Anyway, ten years from now, when Luc is the next Miyamoto, Reaprar the video game equivalent of Roger Ebert, and me the most famous journalist the world has ever known, we'll get together, sip back some Mr Pibb, and laugh about all the things we said when we were young.
