A Game About the Holocaust
Some people that see this title might jump right away into being offended, however hopefully these people will look deeper and realize that this game should in no way be offensive and it could potentially be huge for the industry.

The game, Imagination is the Only Escape, seems to be very similar to Pan's Labyrinth, only a platformer based during the Holocaust. Imagination is the Only Escape is being created by Luc Bernard, most known for Eternity's Child (a title I'm also very interested in). The main character in the game is a Jewish boy that can only escape the real life horrors by journeying to a fantasy world in his head. It seems the game will also present some facts about the tragic events that took place. I can't think of a game that has sought to teach people, especially children, about something like this, and especially in a game that looks as if it could actually be competent as a game as opposed to the usual edutainment titles.

I don't really understand how people would be offended by this game. Of course the Holocaust is a sensitive subject, but this game is trying to present facts about the Holocaust and educate players about the horrors that took place, not manipulate the Holocaust for some sort of sick entertainment or twist it to make the Nazi's appear in a better light.

Imagination is the Only Escape currently has a publisher, but Mr. Bernard fears that the game will be censored, because of a fear of Nintendo's reaction to the game. I'm calling on all of you to show support for this game, in the hopes that an uncensored version can be released, and perhaps other important issues can be tackled in future games.
