I CAN HAS PEEP NAOW?

Clog banner by [WTF]Joel - LOVE HIM AT FULL FORCE.

I am a furfag if the avatar didn't make it obvious, I make no attempts to hide it. Is that a bad thing though? Not in the slightest. I'm not one of the retarded fuckups of the fandom, I'm rather mellow and sane really.

Moving on... I'm not a HUGE gamer, but I game enough. I dig card games and board games moreso really since they don't require specialized hardware that costs FIVE HUNDRED AND NINETY NINE US DOLLARS. Mostly I like the non-collectible non-standard varieties.. such as Munchkin, Fluxx, and Hex-Hex. I like Axis & Allies, but it takes to damn long to play regularly, and I need people who know how to play before I can play really.

I have a Wii though, and I remain a Nintendo fanboy because I'm not so big on Sony and Microsoft. I'm more a fan of the Mario series and weird games like Cooking Mama and Warioware. I tried RE4 and failed miserably, couldn't even make it through the first village without losing my head quite literally. I'm waiting on SSBB since it will be epic.

Otherwise, I used to be a big PC Gamer but not so much lately. Especially Lucasarts Adventure games and Action Adventure games. I've played through Half-Life 2...but I cheated the whole way through. I suck at shooters, seriously. I like Civ games like...Civ IV oddly enough. Gimme Industrial and Financial and I'll be happy. I loves me my World Wonders. Come to think of it, God Games I like. And I've recently played through Psychonauts, that was fun. Overlord is fun to... damn, so many games...

If ya wanna get in touch with me for some reason, my email is darkfire826@lycos.com. Just put D-Toid or something like that in the email title.

...and I will always be a fan of the Super Mario Bros. movie, despite it being universally hated.

I'll be forthright. This is a fun little game. It makes use of the DS functionality quite well (Most games are stylus only, some use both stylus and buttons, and some are button only.)

You can play as a bunch of Mario & Sonic characters, and they all have their strengths and weaknesses. I've been using Tails mainly because he's got decent speed, good stamina, and he's got great 'Skill', which I'm not quite sure what that means.

There's also a wide variety of events in the game. I've gotten good at running & swimming, and most field sports outside of the Triple Jump, which I can't make work for some reason. That's my only gripe, that some of the games don't explain the rules very well, namely the Triple Jump. Also, Ping Pong and Shooting are kind of hard to perfect.

I rate it... a 3/5.
edit - changed score. It's worth a rental, but not to buy. Thanks everyone for pointing out my miscalculation :V.

I didn't know a track and field type game could be fun. Interesting...maybe it will be the best Olympic game since the Snoopy one for the NES?
I may have to try it then. Currently the DS game I've been playing is Megaman ZX (Check mah blog for more info on that).
Im guessing you R4'd this, I wouldn't consider it worth a buy.
I totally DIDN'T R4 it Caff & Heretic. But yeah, I'd consider it at least a rental. It's not super special awesome, but it's a fun little game all the same.

@Tragic - Yeah, scary isn't it? I didn't know what to think either, especially after hearing the Wii version is pretty bad. But the controls work pretty well for this.
Wow, really? 4/5? I only tried it for a little bit but stopped half-way through a Ping-Pong match. The fact that I had to press buttons and not use the touch screen at all made me think "why bother?" and turn it off. Don't think I'll try it more to see if your 4/5 holds water though...
He has uber Skills?
i give is a 1/ die in a fire ur furfag
That sounds kinda stupid. I'm getting the Wii version in a bundle with a Wii later this week, so maybe I'll be surprised.

And STFU Puppet.
@Puppet

I'll change the score to a 3/5. It's not worth owning, but it is a fun game, as I said.

@Genki/NegroL (I love your avatar :3) - Yeah, that's one of the two I have a little trouble with, because it's just kinda hard in general. The control scheme is probably the best one for that game I think tho. Touch screen...you couldn't move very easily, you'd just be hitting the ball.

@Puppet - you need to start it and get in first, it's not hot enough for me :<
@lucashoal

For the ping-pong game they could've done something along the lines of moving with the control pad (left hand) and using the touch screen to hit in different directions at different speeds (right hand).
Hmm, true. I think the control scheme they've got for it is the best tho, but options would have been good.
