I pretty much do the same thing with exams. I do anything to avoid studying, and videogames are my favourite thing to do, so naturally I game alot in those times. It's stupid, but damn it If I can help myself get over this habit.
Anyway, welcome good sir.

Welcome glad to have you on board
I'm a terrible procrastinator as well. Last semester I put off doing a ten page essay until the last two days, it was hell.
Go get to studying we'll chat after you've aced your test

Wolfy, do I have you added on 3DS? I have a "Wolvie", I think it is, from Destructoid.
Thanks for the welcomes. I'm determined to get this rant out in the next day or two while it's still a fresh topic, so exams can go and somethingawful themselves.

Hello. Welcome to the c-blogs. Here is your decoder ring and a fetal pig cape. Its a cape made of fetal pigs for fetal pigs. Enjoy your time here. Thrive with us. Give us your words and ideas and thoughts and we will love you for them. New Zealand, eh? From the pictures I have seen and the Lord of the Rings movies, it looks to be a lovely place. I'm currently playing The World Ends With You and I'm really enjoying it. Though seeing these innovative, awesome games on my DS makes me yearn for a proper console release, but much like a hug from my father, I can only dream.
Arghrarghragh thanks for all the welcomes and the faps!
@Caiters I love uni! I just hate studying. :)

Look at that 3DS in a microwave! It makes me want to dance and put other things in the microwave with it.
When I was a kid I used to put whole eggs in the microwave just to watch them explode. Tinfoil was cool too, so a 3DS has to be so much better, but I can imagine that it'd probably break the microwave. The image is indeed captioned with,
"DO NOT attempt."
Although I read it as,
"DO NOT attempt with your own microwave in your own home, but try it somewhere else because I bet it would turn out great. Oh, and bite your brother's arm because he's poop face."
Welcome. I will steal your hair.

Oh, and about Manny being huge. If you upload at image that has a width of less than 620 pixels to Destructoid's bulk image hosting it will scale it up to that resolution, so it helps to take a good peek at the image size before uploading it.
Should you want to keep the image's unscaled, original resolution then you need to adjust the URL within the BBCode image tags ([ img ], [ /img ])that the blog applet slaps them between. By changing the image file's suffix from '-620x' to '-noscale'[/b].
In the case of that Grim Fandango image it would look something like this.
http://bulk.destructoid.com/ul/user/8/85684-203583-gfthumbjpg-620x.jpg
http://bulk.destructoid.com/ul/user/8/85684-203583-gfthumbjpg-noscale.jpg
And if that is a bit too complicated, then you can always edit the images on your own to whatever size you want, bearing in mind that the blog width is exactly 620 pixels, and host the image somewhere else like Photobucket or IMGUR.

Ah no, that's awesome. Thanks so much falsenipple! I actually did scale the original image down, but the blog stretched it way out. You can watch the video if you like, but you might wanna mute it while the guy's talking.

Seems like most people in the Cblogs are fairly good at thinking through things - that's what drew me here in the first place, as opposed to, uh... IGN. Or the Escapist.
Yeah, the Escapist forums are a bit too intellectual for most Dtoiders.
Then again, so are comic books. LOL

I dunno, half the posts I've seen on the Escapist just degrade into insulting each others' intelligence and arguing semantics...
Nice, solid intro there, buddy. You've got good games to accompany your good words. I can't shut up about TWEWY, and Ghost Trick was fantastic, so I reckon we'll get along fine.
Welcome to the community, Lotus! I laughed at "Nintendo Playstation." I probably said the same thing when I was a kid. Interestingly, I'm sort of a "Nintendo Playstation" guy myself, since I tend to buy both Nintendo and Playstation consoles, but not Xbox.
