I think the real kicker here was in the beginning with, "and the stabbings in my non-existant heart." Seems a bit emo and the MySpace picture header, certainly an interesting combination.
I have no idea what spurred this on but some people put "[NVGR]" in their titles which stands for Not Video Game Related and others don't. But your blogs have all been about Guitar Hero which is video game related so now I am confused.

1. What the hell brought this up? I haven't seen a non-videogame related fail blog in ages.
2. This is a videogame blog. It's okay for somebody to post a non videogame blog as long as they have content, but most of the ones that get yelled at are blogs with little or no content.
And no you can't write about everything here. Theoretically you can, but this isn't myspace and nobody gives a shit about subjects like somebodies personal life.

This makes you sound like a goddamn idiot. Your blog has a valid point, but this just ruins it. After saying that you have an opinion that you can write about anything here and saying that we should respect that opinion, you say you don't respect ours.

Non-gaming related blogs are fine, the problem is when people keep posting blogs that are largely pointless and perfunctory on a regular basis, you shouldn't be surprised that people prefer to read gaming related blogs, it's a gaming website and there is plenty of space on the internet to post about non-gaming related activities.

I agree, the blogs you publish don't have to be about games, but as was pointed out above, this is a gaming website and most people do come here for gaming related content. This has evolved into placing the [NVGR] tag on blogs that don't have anything to do with games, so that the readers who only want to read about things other than games don't have to, see? It's a courtesy thing.
So post random-assed blogs all you like. Shit ones will become "fail" blogs but we'll pretty much accept anything that comes under the NVGR tag and doesn't suck too badly! =)

First rule, games that are not about video games, you tag them with NVGR, which means Non video game related.

It should be obvious that destructoid is a video gaming bog. I don't think it's to much to ask that you write things with a gaming/geek-culture slant.
