Rrrrripped, straight from the Official Australian 360 site comes some Pre-Christmas goodness.

SYDNEY 11 November 2008 � "Microsoft today has lowered the price of the Xbox 360� video game and entertainment system in Australia to a starting price of AU$299.00 RRP* - less than half the RRP price[1] of the next cheapest hi-definition console in the country."

Awesome news. It's at the magical AUS$400 price point I always wait for.

But I'm seriously thinking about just getting some more RAM and a new graphics card for the PC instead. And a new 1TB HDD.

I'll wait for a good bundle to go with the price drop.

$300 is still $300 too much for broken hardware.

I say poo poo to this price cut, and I'm still not buying one until they fix their damn console.
