Now, I'm all for the WoWites of this world being able to have free reign on the destruction of their own lives. Yet, in the last few months...it seems one of my closest friends has been enthralled by this behemoth. He's a level 52 hunter elf or some shit. Anyway, that's not the point. He gave up on his (my) FPS clan to game this gay game and left 'us' by the wayside for a bunch of dorkdomcom. All the whilst this happens to my bewildered state...I am forced to watch a World of Warcraft commercial during 'MY' Monday Night Football experience? What the fuck has gone wrong in this world to where i cannot escape this monstrosity of a time wasting piece of shit during a goddamn football game?
The new-fangled G9 Logitech mouse comes out this week without much fanfare. I've currently owned the last few generations of Logitech's gaming meece (mx510, mx518, G5) and I'm fairly pumped over a new release on an already rock solid hardware line-up. Logitech claims upwards of 3200 dpi, interchangeable grips, and personal mouse settings for up to 5 profiles. Seems nifty, but i still have some reservations...especially after having to resort back to my mx518 on a few occasions due to some crap ass BF2/QuakeIII G5 issues. Any plans on obtaining one of these little guys? Dropping a hundo seems a little steep at the moment.
Oh yeah, and what about the newly redesigned G15 programmable keyboard? Seems pretty swooft, you know, with the orange backlit keys and lcd as opposed to the original blue. I dunno though, seems like they bastardized it by removing 12 of the 18 macro (G) keys. Also, the volume knob has been all borked up. I'm hoping i can get one of the original G15's on the cheap...i think i saw it on buy.com for $60.

Its not every day you actually go to the store and walk away satisfied with what did or did not happen. Rest assured, today could easily get tallied in the victory column. Robot PJ's for my son easily tops any shopping excursion i've had in the past year.
It seems Old Navy equally has a robot fetish and has blazoned them upon some sleep wear. Call me obsessive, but i naturally bought every size from my son's current 6-12 month size...all the way up to 5 years. I'm definitely picking up what the Old Navy is laying down...and did so this past December when i also got a pair of robot ornaments for me ol' christmas tree.
ah, let's see. Nobunaga's Ambition (nes, snes, genesis) is my favorite game. I currently own...nes, snes, genesis, dreamcast, ds, xbox 360, and a wittle wii.
I hit 30 this year, so i'm not quite hardcore anymore. BUT. Games are probably the mainstay of my current extracurricular activities outside of being a father and husband. I gots TWO little whiper snappers, a boy and a girl. My daughter (age 4) has a knack for the video games and is currently enjoying what ever random wiisports/play event i throw at her. My wife hijacked my DS and has logged 30+ hours in Super Princess Peach and continues to play it...regardless of how many times she beats it. My son is less than a year old and currently unable to partake in any reindeer games, but i did recently purchase some robot encrusted jammeys for him to sleep in.
