I've already made three posts today, all three of which were, in some way, Guitar Hero 3 related... and here's number 4! Red Octane has announced that the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3 will initially launch without online capabilities, but they're still working with Nintendo to make online play available. However, the box states that the game will be Wi-Fi compatible, so I guess that when online is added, it will be available for every Wii owner who purchased the game before the Wi-Fi functions were added. If not, there will be hell to pay.
If you pre-order the game on Red Octane's website
http://redoctane.com/gh3.html you will be allowed to choose one of 2 pre-order bundles. Either the Extreme Bundle, which comes with the game, the guitar, a guitar bag, a customized guitar strap, and a Guitar Hero keychain. For $10 more, however, you can get the elite bundle, which comes with verything in the Extreme Bundle, plus a customized faceplate and a Guitar Hero 3 t-shirt.
And to prove I wasn't lying about the Wii box saying it's Wi-Fi compatible
See it in the corner?
"Red Octane has announced that the Wii version of Guitar Hero 3 will initially launch without online capabilities, but they're still working with Nintendo on putting online play into later shipments of the game"
You should read it as:
"Once you buy our game, we don't have to do shit for you, we already have your money."
