That isn't GoldBox...that is deal of the day. I think Jim Sterling wants this game though. :P
Actually I didn't find it quite that bad. The first 1-2 hours might seem a bit droll, but once you get past that it gets fun. I especially love the battles where you run into your other separete party members, so it turns into a clusterfuck of your 12 characters versus about 5-6 of the enemy (maybe even less) and the screen turns into an orgy of colors and attacks with strange names.
I'm about 35-40 hours in and gettin close to the end I think. Granted, the game could have been much shorter, but I'm a sucker for sidequests and grinding.
Oh, if you do get it, go to the Marketplace and download the free vouchers. They're awesome for buying items. There should be voucher A and B. If you cant see them, try the in-game marketplace access. Trust me, they will save you a lot of time.
The strategy guide was on sale too; with free shipping it was 43 bucks.
Thanks for the tip man, just bought a copy. It got lukewarm reviews, but for half the price, can't really pass that up. Lot of people on this site seem to like it too despite the reviews.
Got it for $23 from Gamefly
Heck yes I'll buy it for 30 bucks
