Its amazing how I have had to justify the greatness of this game to some of my friends. Whats even crazier is having to justify why a black man can be good at this game. Been playing guitar hero since the original came out. I find it funny that my black friends thought I was crazy for trying it and that no self respecting black man would play it(you should have heard them after I beat the game on expert....) Along comes guitar hero 2. I still heard the same issues from them, but not to the same extent, maybe cuz it was the sequel, or that it came out a little over a year later like the madden games they buy every year for that little change that EA makes that justifies spending another 50-60 buck on the game(we all have those friends). I stray from my thoughts. Another great game, had its moments too(fuck psychobilly freak out on expert and that robot of a fucking kid who was on youtube). Now I sit here WITHOUT guitar hero 3, why you ask? because I wanted to wait for rock band(which is fucking awesome) and lo and behold I turn on my 360, glance at my friends list like we all do when we first turn the system on. All my friends from college(HBCU representin') are playing guitar hero 3 like its the new madden. What was I saying 3 years ago? Now its cool? maybe because its made by the people who did tony hawk? people by those every year for minimal changes? Or maybe they can admit what I admitted 3 years ago. Its a great feeling to rock out.....even if it isnt a real guitar....
