I really just wanted my blog page to not have a big empty spot. And I wanted God to quit telling me to write a blog.

If you read my profile you're probably thinking "what teh effz. this girl doesn't even own a console." Actually, you were probably thinking I was a dude. But I'm not.

So being a member of a "hardcore gamer" community, I thought I should prove my worth.


NES - My first experience with video games. I do still have one, the gun, 2 controllers, and a bazillion strange games for it. But blowing in the cartridge just got way too intense.

DOS - Hugo's House of Horrors. I was about 6 years old, forcing my mom to memorize the dos commands that would let me play Hugo's House and Nibbles.

Sega Genesis - It came with Lion King, and I still love that game. Actually, I think it's safe to say that I've played Lion King, the first 3 Sonic games, and Street Fighter on the genesis within the last year.

PS1 - My first experience with FF. Then my brother broke the 2nd disk... what a douche.

N64 - Golden Eye. Golden Eye. Golden Eye. Plus the traditional nintendo games, but srsly - Golden Eye.

PC - Oh yeah, somewhere in there I was addicted to Heretic and Doom, but mostly Heretic.

XBOX - My first all night gaming session was born of 16 player lan sessions on Halo 1. Hang 'Em High, no radar, anyone? Rockets on Longest? Forget Sidewinder, though.
