Spider-Man for the Playstation

And when I say Playstation, I mean Playstation. Not PS2. Whatever happened to good ol' games like Spider-man for the PS1? I know you remember it. Sure, it wasn't free-roam, but it had nice satisfying game play, and great boss battles; Scorpion, Venom, Doc Ock, Carnage, Carnage/Doc Ock mix, well its aweseome. The graphics weren't the greatest, but what do you expect? I have never heard any bad feedback when it comes to this game. It was fantastic. Its definatly in my top 5. (Next to Silent Hill.) But thats a different blog. We need to bring this game back one way or another. Let the youth of today experience a one-of-a-kind classic.

Getting rid of enemies was satisfying every time.

Web em up.

Punch 'em out.

Throw a file cabinet maybe?

And who can forget this sequence?

If you havent experienced the awesomeness of this game, please, I urge you from the bottom of my urging place, go find it and play it.

Is this post awesome? Vote it up!

While this blog could use some work, I actually have fond memories of that game. I prefer it's linear style to the free roaming BS they've been shoveling out these past few years.

@eternaldeathslayer

I have very fond memories of it too. I can remember web-slinging though the sky and the yellow haze that would kill you if you fell into it.

Good times.

This game was great. I might NOT download it and NOT put it on my PSP or something.

Oh man, I remember that game. By then, my PS1 was crapping out on me, so I couldn’t play the last level (where you have to swing towards the screen and stuff) because the A/V connection wasn’t transmitting the video properly. The game was very fun, though.

This was an amazing, underrated game. The combat was really fluid and the move set was deep. The sense of being Spider-Man that you got from swinging around was very good for the time.

Also EEL NATS ftw.

That game was amazing. The nostalgia is creeping up on me.

-_-

Samit:

Did you wrap that AV cables around something tightly? That worked for me when mine was doing the same thing.

:D

I bought this game for my dad a few christmas back hearing it was good. Sweet jesus did this game have craploads of extras. This was a rather awesome game that my dad should (and BETTER) still have. This game did some justice.

and the "What if" mode was rather funny and cool.
