What I thought Was my My Interpretation of Pyramid Head(Spoiler)

Iv been pondering this for some years now and never actually spoke about it.

For those of you don't know who Pyramid Head is, (whats wrong with you?)
It is a mysterious creature who lurks in the world of Silent Hill. Known for raping and impaling its victims. Know body really knows what it is.

So...
What or who is Pyramid Head?

Heres my interpretation:
Pyramid Head is a representation of James' subconscious. After the death of his wife James believed he needed punishment for her death, which is why Pyramid Head pursues James. This also lead to sexual frustration on his part, therefore, Pyramid Head is more about raping his victims then killing them. This also branches to the other Silent Hills. PH is just a branch of the protagonists mind.
Anybody correct me if im wrong.

Ive also been thinking..
What if Pyramid Head is just a hallucination?
Notice how if he does kill you, its always in a manner that your character could do to themselves. It could just be some sort of hallucination that causes he/she to commit suicide.....

And I didnt know that this has been confirmed.
I've played through the games and thought that id throw up some sort of thought of what was going through my head.

I just recently learned what Silent hill was really about. I thought it was just some fucked up place, now I've come to learn it's really just you going fucking crazy. Sure the place is still messed up but really it's just the characters are fucked and things aren't the way they seem to be. This whole pyramid head thing not existing makes alot of sense. Kinda like how Maria or whatever always dies, but comes back to life, yet James must suffer her death over and over because of what he has done. It's insanse, there's so much behind Silent Hill and people really don't know about it. It's genious.

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but anyone who has finished the game should know this already and anyone who hasn't finished the game surely doesn't want to be told James' secret. You may want to put a spoiler warning or something.

Is Silent hill 2 the best one to start at or number 1? I'm going start playing this series. Number 2 at least since I know that one is about some fucked up shit.

It's not that you didn't read the manual, or wrote it to help beginners.

The name of the post is "My Interpretation of Pyramid Head." When really, it's not yours. It's the confirmed, stated by the developers, explanation. It's almost like your trying to make it sound like you've discovered something that nobody else has really thought about.

It would be as if I was saying "My Theory Behind Liquid Snake" and then I go onto say how I think he's a clone of Big Boss and that he's also Solid Snake's twin. It's kind of well known.

@XeroSnake: Start at number 1 dude. It has it's fair share of awesome as well. But definitely play SH2 right through. Totally sweet game.
