First post (gulp)

Hey there, I can't say that I am new user here to good ol' dtoid, as I have been a lurker for quite sometime now and only now have decided to show myself and post my first blog. Let's get all the basic information out of the way (which most of it can be found on the right side of my blog). My name is David, I am 16 (soon to be 17 once Monday rolls around) and I currently live in California. (I'm not telling you the city I live in, pervs. yes Mr. Sadistic, I'm looking at you.)

See? I already feel like a stalker since I know so many people here, yet none of you even have the slightest idea of who I am, kind of creepy, but whatever. Let's see here, I have been gaming since, oh say around the age of three or so. My very first system was the NES (It was my dad's) I soon later upgraded to the SNES, yes I grew up with Nintendo and still am faithful to this day (even if they refuse to jump into the 21st century). However, I am far from being a fanboy, trust me. I currently own a Xbox 360 (currently in the shop), Nintendo Wii, PSP, DS, and my own custom-built PC rig. I plan on a getting a PS3 in the near-future (MGS4, fap).

I'd say that my favorite franchises would be Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy, Halo, Sonic (By a thin hair, trust me. C'mon Sonic Unleashed, don't suck), Mario, Zelda, Resident Evil, and Super Smash. Yup, as a gamer, I'd classify myself as hardcore, I suppose. I am pretty much open when it comes to game and really do not have a favorite "genre". Some of my favorite games of all time are Resident Evil 4, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasy VIII (I know, not VII ZOMG LOLZ), my secret jp-title only that Koobert recommended to me, On No Kujira Ham Soldier Sanwich and I'm too lazy to think of others.

My favorite movies would be Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Cloverfield, the Indiana Jones and Star Wars Series, just thought I'd add that in.

I really wanted to join on the day of dtoid's/Niero's b-day since that was a day full of such awesome, so maybe I could have sneaked in with my suckiness. But. I have been without an internet connection the past couple of days (I had to view it all on my iPhone's beautiful edge network). But, better late then never, right?

So, yeah I really cannot think of anything else to write about for my first post, only that I am glad to finally be part of dtoid community and I hope to get to know everybody better. I hope to participate in all of the community evens such as FNF and what not. So, yeah I'll try my best not to suck too badly, but I can't guarantee anything.
