So being a longtime lurker here are dtoid, I pretty came to PAX not knowing a single one of you very nice people. At first, when I did introduce myself to someone, I ended up just asking the same standard questions that I'd ask anybody for the first time. Being that this was a gaming community, I decided that this was unacceptable. I should have a more relevant gaming related icebreaker to get the conversation started. It actually worked out pretty well, and definitely resulted in more memorable conversations with my fellow community members.
So, I've decided to pose this question here, so that everyone would have a chance to answer:
As a gamer, what are you ashamed of? You answer could be liking a game that is generally considered crappy, or even neglecting a game that the community thinks highly of. Or perhaps, you secretly play Farmville in your spare time.......
To get you started, I'll admit my faux pas.
I own both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus, and have not played either of them......
What is yours?

Or were you the guy who scolded me for not saying Sakura right?!
Ya, I met you at GameWorks, but I didn't scold you for not saying Sakura right.
I'm ashamed I can't get into JRPGs and that I don't have much of a rich history of games. So, as you can see, buckets of shame to go around.
Good icebreaker question! and while I never gave my two cents in the other conversation, Mega Man 2 > all
As for a faux pas, there are a lot of old games that I've played but never beaten, like SMB, Sonic, and Metroid. I think that loses me a little nerd cred.
Though I'm not exactly ashamed of that.
Ummm....hmmmm...I'm sure at some point I've masturbated to a game. I just can't recall the specifics.
Hmmmm....
My gaming shaming is that I never really learned to play M:TG. nerd_cred--
(I also have a "never played" list with Chrono Trigger, GTA, any MMO, Half-Life, CounterStrike, etc.)
@Beyamor - I take it you haven't played Ico either. At least you have an excuse though.
