I actually spend more time reading about video games than I do playing them.
It's kinda weird. When I see a game that looks really good, I'll get excited and run out and buy/preorder it. For some of the older games I may have missed, I'll even scour the area looking for it, and if that's going nowhere, I'll try to get it online.
After I pick it up, I'll rush home like an impatient 10 year old, and then..........play for 5 min, and then forget about it.
So many lost titles....
Devil May Cry 3
XenoSaga
Rogue Squadron
Zelda: Wind Waker
Super Paper Mario
Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (in my defense, I did play for 50 hours)
Metroid Prime 2 (I should finish it before Metroid Prime 3 is released.)
and many others that time have just forgotten.
Maybe one day, I'll get back to my senses and start playing games again... Till that day, I'll read from the sidelines.
Last week was definitely a ride off due to E3. The sad thing is that a friend wanted to borrow my Wii last week, and I didn't let him thinking that I would at least play something. Nope, it was in a Starbucks bag under my desk for the entire week.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

This last week has seen a serious lack of games really, compared to most weeks for me. It's all about reading from the sidelines during E3 :)

A Wii inside starbucks... for some reason, that seems to be a perfect match. Get high off coffee and do the Wii thang.
Starbucks, if you start it you better pay me!!
I spend more time writing about video games and crafting stuff from video games then playing them right now.
I have 20+ plus games I need to finish
I feel like I do the same thing. I read more than I play. I buy games and don't finish them. It's a weird thing.
