I'm mostly a retro gamer. I don't hate everything after the 90's, but I tend to prefer retro game design. I enjoy alot of indie and portable games, not to mention a blockbuster title every now and then. However, like I said, the majority of my gaming takes place on older consoles.

Why have I not been on this site for longer!? I love this! I hadn't really gotten into Destructoid other than listening to RetroforceGo! (which I found through iTunes) until I joined about 2 weeks ago and realized that this is the best site for gamers on the entirety of the intertubez.
The blog system is genius and a great way to connect to people! I wrote some stupid blog today about Zelda and it got like over 30 comments! I also randomly met two gamers who live in the same town as I do! I just thought that was really cool. It doesn't really seem like there's a hierarchy here either because the Editors are so cool and treat the regular members like people, unlike some other sites I've been on. Speaking of which, the community here is very warm as well. It's awesome so many people from different places with different opinions can just come here and be connected with each other solely through their love of video games. I'm having so much fun here just ranting about crap, commenting people, reading news, and making friends. This really is the best site for gamers in my opinion, I can't wait for the things to come. Now I just have one question... Where can I get that Destructoid font that everyone seems to have at?
