Hey - Unleashed is actually looking like a half decent game compared to the absolute crap fest that was Sonic and the Secret Rings.

I really liked Sonic Adventure on Dreamcast, it was probably the last good Sonic game I've played.
However it's all been downhill from there.

Sonic Adventure was excellent, Sonic Advance games were brilliant, Sonic Rush was excellent and I even go so far as to say that Sonic Heroes (while not brilliant) was far from a shameful addition.
Happy birthday to Sonic though, may he continue to fill our lives with fine rock music.

"Sonic and the Secret Rings" also LOOKED half decent, though as you mentioned, it was not... I have lost all hope in anything Sonic Team related after the atrocities that were "Sonic and the Secret Rings" and "NiGHTS Journey of Dreams"
This is really really depressing. Not because it makes me feel old (hey, I'm only two years older), but because I think back to the last even somewhat good sonic game (Sonic Adventure 2. I know a lot of people don't like it, but I know a lot of people do. After that was Sonic Heroes wich in my experience anyway is waaaaaay more disliked) came with a special 10th anniversary bonus pack.
Come on sega, seven years is way too long to wait for a good Sonic game. Plea-

Someone at Sega, seven years ago, broke a mirror. That man has still been employed there, leaving his foul luck to mar our beloved franchises. But the 7-year curse is finally reaching it's end, and therefore THIS IS THE YEAR SEGA WILL STOP SUCKING! YES, RETURN TO THE GREATNESS YOU ONCE WERE, SERVICE GAMES, AND TAKE BACK WHAT SHOULD BE YOURS!
(Well, hope and enthusiasm has worked to satiate Cubs fans for over a century now, I just hope someone at Sega didn't allow someone with a billy goat into their offices...)
