Recently, I posted a blog asking you guys to check out some ebay items I was selling. This wasn't for greed, it was for a good cause: Getting back the 360 I sold.

And wouldn't you know it, right when I thought I had my finances straightened out PAX is around the corner (coroner lol).

To make matters worse? A flight to PAX is the same fucking price as an XBOX 360.

So, like all intelligent people bent on getting what he wants without actually making the decision on his own, I'm asking other people to decide for me. From the internet.

Should I buy an XBOX 360, or go to PAX?

I leave it up to you...

OR, if you want to donate money that would be great too.

Like most people said, the 360 will be still there waiting for you when you get back but this years PAX is never going to happen again. Yeah there will be more PAX events I'm sure but 2008's PAX is a one time occurrence.

...unless someone actually makes a flux capacitor.

PAX: A one-time experience. Probably a great, life-long memory. Hanging out with a ton of great people, playing games. Much more expensive. Probably a higher quality of fun than the Xbox.

XBOX: Will last much longer. (Presumably.) You'll be able to play games with community members on a regular basis online. Probably provides much more entertainment than PAX overall, but of a lower quality.

Personally, I'd buy an Xbox before I ever tried to make PAX happen for me. You'll probably end up going to PAX, though. :)

Think of it this way sir. The NARP was epic. PAX will be even more epic. A 360 will always be there for you to purchase. While there will be a PAX next year, it may not be as epic as this one. :)
