And another friday is upon us, this will be just another fun Euro FNF with 3 nice looking maps.
I don't think we'll have enough regulars tonight but we're getting ever closer to locking stuff up.
We have 3 new custom maps today:
pl_cave - This is an update of a map which had much potential when we played it. Back then it only had one stage but now it has 3, let's see how it plays.
ctf_escherhaus - A map inspired by the surrealist M.C. Escher. It looks great and Escher maps used to be a favorite of mine in the old UT.
cp_rocketball - A map recommended by Budr which seems it will make the game feel a little more Counterstrike-ish with it's permanent death thing. I hope this will work out.
If you had a reserved slot on Caffeine's server, you will have it on this one as well, if you don't and want a reserved spot: mail me your Steam ID on FNF [at] ams-sec [dot] org
Time: 20:00 CEST (GMT +2)

Password: N/A (Unless we get enough regulars, in that case the password will be 'point')
Escher Haus was one of greatest custom maps I have ever played.
I didn't know where the hell I was most of the time, and it took me 30 minutes before I made it to the other side to find out the bases were mirrors.
Also I managed to try and cap the intel at the same place I grabbed it from (after getting turned around), and at one point I didn't realize I was guarding our intel at their cap point (so unfortunately I wasn't very serious)
But it was still awesome, I wouldn't have liked it nearly as much if it was easy to get around in.

about me
Welcome to my blog.
I'm a 26 year old gamer from Amsterdam, The Netherlands, who was brought up with PC games and Nintendo. My first gaming experiences where on the MSX and the C64 but the first game that I really remember playing was Prince of Persia on my 80286 PC.
After that I was hooked on games, especially the Lucas Arts and Sierra adventure games engaged me in a way I never thought possible before that. The day I saw a NES at a friends place with Super Mario Bros. on it I had to get one and after whining a lot my father finally got me one... Mario, Zelda, Metroid... they where all mine to play now and ate up so many hours of my childhood, I was a Nintendo kid and my love for Nintendo's games remain till this day.
I took a break from console gaming after the SNES era even though I stuck with PC games for the entire time. I had a gamecube which I didn't own many games for because I only bought it to play Metroid Prime. A few years back I bought a Nintendo DS on a whim. The DS rekindled my love for console gaming and got me to keep up with gaming news (here on Destructoid) and also got me to buy a Wii.
I also own a European TF2 server:

You silly Europeans.
Escherhaus was indeed great, it's going to be hard for any custom map to make a better FNF addition...
Anyway, it was a great night and the day that I can lock the server for only regulars and dtoid people draws closer... :)
@insomia If you want more regulars, try some fiber.
