Yeah the lens is the "plastic fantastic" 50mm fixed, 1.7. It's awesome and it's only $70. (If you have a canon).

I've been looking to get a 1.7,1.8 lens
I'm currently shooting with a decent walk around lens, tamron 17-55mm 2.8
Just shot you a PM on the forum about it. The 17-55mm is good everyday, but I've been burned by Tamron too many times to consider it reliable.
