The hubbub over Kirby: Super Star Ultra inspired me to borrow Kirby: Squeak Squad from a friend and start playing it. It's technically sound and it plays great, but I'm having trouble liking it because of the difficulty. It's easy to the point that I don't really feel much accomplishment upon beating a level, but I feel like a fucking retard if I somehow die. I'll stick with it, because it is quite charming, but it's not really drawing me in the way something like Mega Man or Bionic Commando generally does.

I've never played Squeak Squad, but all the other Kirby games were astronomically easy, its part of the charm, but I still enjoy them. Clearing the games with 100% provides a little bit more of a challenge because theres usually some exploring or puzzle element involved, which I also enjoy.
