What do you make of this?
This picture is from the title screen of mega Man 5 for ness although it clearly says V...
I don't know why we do that.
Also, for my money, the best "lost" Mega Man game is Mega Man Battle Network Transmission on the Gamecube. The level design may be a little weak at times, but it's got something like 16 boss fights, making it like 2 regular Mega Man games in one. Mor importantly, it's the only game to feature Mega Man, Bass, and Zero.
Like I said, I'm a Mega Man nerd.
Check it out sometime and tell me what you think.
Isn't Zero the main baddie in that one though? But yeah. That's pretty kick ass that it has Mega, Proto, Bass and Zero.
Man. I never finished that game. I think I need to get it.
I just checked out a preview for Mega Man Battle Network Transmission on Gametrailers. I had no idea it was a side scrolling Mega Man game. I'll try to get this one and play it through.
Warning, the game is NOT fun at first, as Mega Man is just way underpowered, but after the second level (which I think was Needle Man), it gets a lot more fun.
Like the Battle Network games, you don't get defeated boss powers, but you can summon them if you beat them the right way. Bringing out Proto Man, Zero, then Bass in a gigantic kick-ass combo is something every Mega Man fan should experience.
