OMG!!!1111! c00l st0ry bro!
Oh Snap!
Actually, I found the combat very entertaining and addicting. Stick with it past the forest, and your next "quest" after that, and it turns fun.
I was like that too, After the forest I was pondering whether to keep playing, but luckily I was bored a certain Wednesday afternoon and picked it up again.
Now I have logged over 50 hours in the game.
Granted, it doesn't take that long, but I've been doing alot of the sidequest and bonus dungoen at the end. I'm also a sucker for level grinding, so I never get tired of fighting.
Sounds like a good time. I've never played it but I think you should keep playing. Press on.
It never gets any better.
If you found the forest bit annoying then I wouldn't bother with the game anymore. It doesn't get any better. I played through the game and returned it afterwards because it was so bad and that was the first time I have ever done that with any game.
