Howdy; I’m grafkhun (I made it up a few years ago; it’s my internet alias for almost everything). I’ve been visiting Destructoid since late 2007, didn’t register until last summer or around then. The front page has been my lurking area, but I think I poked my ugly mug in the forums a few times. I did not like it due to the lack of anal fisting; I hear there’s more of that in the irc? You may have of seen me around the C-blogs here and there as well. Anyways, now I’m going to start posting stuff of my own here and you’re welcome to have a cupcake or whatever’s lying around.


Since I don’t have a camera this isn’t going to be a ‘setup’ post. I don’t have a wicked awesome setup anyways, and I don’t even have any consoles of my own with me in college, so all I could show you guys is my laptop.




An Asus G51, I love it. After being stuck with a hand-me-down first generation white macbook (piece of shit now, the screen flickers and the wifi can barely connect even if the router is fucking right next to it) for the last four years, I finally got my own laptop. If you’re looking for a high-end laptop placed at budget price, look no further, seriously. I paid $1000 for this baby and it can run almost any game with all the settings cranked to the max.


So back home my consoles are all safely tucked away either in boxes or cabinets, waiting for me to come back and whip them out and game the fuck out with them. To anyone going to college, bring a console and a TV if you’re a serious gamer. Trust me, I thought I could manage without a console, but I’m dying for my PS2 right now.



Anyways, I play a lot of stuff, mainly 2D games. Some of my favorites are in the right side-bar if you’re interested. While I don’t play any sport games, I don’t hate them like some gamers do. Sure I still think that going outside and playing the sport is the way to do it, but playing as your favorite sports team in a match isn’t going to happen outside of digital recreations of the sport. So cut the sport game junkies some slack guys. With that said, I’m not even into sports really. Don’t give a shit about any particular sport to be perfectly honest.


As for movies, I’m not too keen on movies since I rarely find something I really enjoy. My favorite movie of all time is Ghost in the Shell though. Literature wise I’m much more involved; I almost read as much as I game. Cormac McCarthy is probably my favorite author; I don’t have a favorite book. Hmmm… I’m trying to make this not sound like a social-networking info tab, but it’s coming off like that, right? Well let’s just go all the way then. Musically I listen to a lot of European club music; long soft-trance tracks that I can just let the mind flow where it wants to flow is my type of jam.
