Much to my family's disappointment after I got my Psych degree I moved into journalism. At the moment I do games and anime reviews for a free magazine in Sydney which no one reads. I also work casually as a research assistant but that isn't interesting.
I've been gaming since I was a wee lad and as I recall the first console I had was the Atari 2600. Pitfall 2 on the C64 amazed me and at the time I thought it was the deepest games would ever get.

I'm a big SRPG/RPG fan but I also have an itchy trigger finger so FPSes are on the cards to.
I have a weak spot for survival horror but I suck at them. The newer survival horror action games (RE4) are right up my alley.
Also big fan of Clover studios and Capcom in general.

Right now I've got a 360, Ps2, Saturn, cube(for imports) and Wii set up and I've also got a PSP & DS.

Everyone has them. Games that have a special place in your heart that everyone else has a place for in the dumpster.

U*Four*ia - A virtually nonexistant metroidesque anime style game... too many adjectives... that sucked up a week of my childhood life.

Project Snowblind First person shooter meant to be a kind of spiritual sequel to Deus ex 2. I've never finished it but it seems to find it's way into my ps2 every few months.

Gungrave Not only do people cringe when I mention this game, they cringe again when I say I liked the original better. The 'Kick their ass' at the start of each level adds to the charm.

Ballz This is one of the most hated games that I know of but back in the day I dug it. Sure the music sounded like a porno and the messages in the background made no sense.... but it began the mashfest and isn't that the true meaning of christmas?

Metal Gear Acid Although it hasn't really kept it up, the PSP had an excellent launch, the best of which I thought was MGA. Unfortunately no-one agreed with me and MGA was damned by gamers who wished it to be sent back to the hell they assumed it came from however for me it was heavenly... or good or something.

I have never actually played any of these games, but i must say, any game with " Kick Their Ass" at the start of each level would warm the cockles of my heart.

RC Pro Am. - I wish people would get on top of Microsoft/Rare about them loving this game more so I could see an XBLA release with multiplayer.

Advent Rising - People need to start buying this game in large quantities so i can finish what was supposed to be a trilogy

Advent Rising was a broken, glitchy mess of a game!!!

I always end up mentioning games with big giant robots in this sort of thing, particularly the Zone of the Enders games and Omega Boost.

Ooooh and Steambot Chronicles!

Oh dont get me wrong, i know why people hated it. It had some major problems, but i really loved the story that went along with the game. It was one of the few games that caught me off guard in terms of story.

Fair enough, I had to play it for a review on the website I run, I think I rated it as badly as I did Marvel Nemesis on PS2
