A couple of months ago I traded in my PS2 because Gamestop were giving me a good deal (a PS2 and 4 games and get an Xbox 360 premium system for �200). A few weeks ago I bought another PS2 off one of my friends for �50. Overll it was a worthwhile transaction.

I bought the second PS2 because I realised there were alot of great games I had yet to play on the system and since have been trying to build a decent collection of games for it. Today I treated myself to a few new games for my collection, namely Beyod Good and Evil, God of War and Killer 7. Ive been playing God of War now for a couple of hours and Its the most fun Ive had in a long time (bioshock demo excluded). This makes me wonder what other gems does this console have to offer that I havent played or maybe even havent heard of.

If anyone can recommend some lesser known games worth picking up I would greatly appreciate it.

You need to check out Shadow of the Colossus. And probably Ico, but I haven't played that myself yet.

release on par with FF, but with a more unique setting)
Zone of Enders 2 (the PAL version is an SE i believe, cel shaded mechs for the win, you might want to avoid the first game)
