1. The Nintendo Nsider forums were my first online community.
It's true, the Nsider forums were a totally awesome place to hang out back when they existed. Sure, everything was monitored, you couldn't even share friend codes, but there were a lot of really smart people who cared about the gaming industry. It was my very first taste of an online community, and I will always remember it for that.
2. I have never finished a Final Fantasy game.
Every time I start one, I get about half way through. The exception is Final Fantasy IX, which I got to the end of the third disc.
3. I'm gay.
Everyone in real life knows, but for some reason I just never told anyone on the internet before. I just thought that everyone else was telling people quite intimate things about themselves (Fait is a stripper lol), so I thought I would just follow suit.
4. I have an obsession with organizing my games.
Every few weeks, I have to move my games around my room, and put them in a different order. Sometimes I keep them organized by console, sometimes by publisher. I take super good care of everything I buy, and I keep all the original receipts in the box.
5. I gave up pursuing a relationship in real life to spend more time with games and Destructoid.
With everyone always telling me the problems that their significant other gives them, I just thought that I would rather skip that and spend time doing things that I actually enjoy.
6. I quit gaming for about a year.
About 2 years ago, I quit gaming for about a year to try the whole "social life" thing. It didn't really work out too well, so I came back to the glowing happiness that is my TV screen.
7. I hate all the gamers at my school
I tried going to their "gaming club" during noon hours, but it turned out to be the worst thing ever. All they do is play f*cking Warcraft III. I mean seriously, people still play Warcraft III? But now I have a best friend who I hang out with all the time, and we like all the same kind of games. So it's good. Whatever, quality over quantity, right?
8. I really wish I was good at Strategy RPGs.
I have never been good at games like Final Fantasy Tactics and the FFTA for the GBA. I have so much fun with them for the first few levels, but then when the difficulty racks up, I get stuck and quit. Maybe it's just my lack of patience.
9. I am freaking obsessed with Zelda Wind Waker.
This game is my favourite game of all time. Hands down. There really is nothing wrong with it in my eyes. The art style is gorgeous. The controls are perfect. I love sailing the ocean for 20 minutes at a time. There really is NOTHING wrong with this game. Also, I'm getting a Wind Waker tattoo somewhere on my body. I don't know of what yet, or where, but I have wanted one ever since I was a kid, an I told myself I would wait and see if I still wanted it. If anyone has any suggestions, please help out in the comments.
10. I used to play with Barbies when I was little.
It was kind of a guilty pleasure as a kid. I liked to go to my neighbors house and make up stories about how Barbie and Ken's lives. I am a huge loser.

Well, there you have it. 10 things about me that I could think of and put into a list. I hoped you learned a few things about me, I know I learned a lot about you guys. :)
I love you all!

Thanks for the list, Garison. The more I know about you, the more I like you.

I played Spore. It wasn't very good.

ALSO, CAPS. ^_^
I used to steal my sisters Barbies and have my action figures rescue them, which is funny when you think about it, as the Barbies were like twice the size of the hero's saving them.
great writeup :)
I need to get back to windwaker!! I TOTALLY forgot about that game! *goes and strokes the gamecube, having found it crying in the corner next to it's older brother, the 64*
I keep buying SRPGs and quickly discard them for exactly that reason XD I'm a foolish fool who's foolishly foolish antics point him out for the foolish fool he is!
That and Starcraft are the only games I can play online with any of my friends, since most of them can't run things like L4D or Company of Heroes.
(okay, I played Barbies with my little cousin a few times. She would go on dates with my He-Man. He was really short.)
:P
