lots of people are going to be buying wiifit in the coming weeks.

these people will tire of wiifit in the coming weeks, and be left with a peripheral that i see going grossly underused in the rest of the platforms life.

but you konami, you are already ready to cash in, with the quickness.

remember those grossly overpriced novelty mo-cap games that plaster dave and buster's across the country.

yeah, you could port those games to the wii, and then count the dollars. don't worry, i'll settle for 5%.

now the good news for us as gamers. one of these games is actually *gasp* fun. no, not you mocap boxing, though you'd probably sell better, you stay in the corner.

clearly, that cabinet will not fit in my apartment.

Police 911 is your typical light gun fare. not too far off from the Letal Enforcers and Police Trainers we're all used to. the gimmick here is that the mocap system allowed you to take cover and dodge bullets by shifting your body. its actually a ton of fun, and i remember it putting a serious hurt on my thighs. staying crouched for minutes at a time in the midst of a firefight is good times, especially after a few pitchers.

so whadaya say? i could only play these a few times, since they're about $2 a play at dave and busters, so i'd hand over $50 w/o reservation to give these games a solid go. think about it, i'll still be here.

I thought the same exact thing after seeing the head tracking demos seen here.

I too loved Police 911 and would kill for a home version.

That game was the ONLY game I played last time I went to D&B. I would shell out a full $60 or more if it also came with a decent gun peripheral, too. God knows the game would be ruined by the Zapper.

I spent so much money on that 911 police game, not even funny.

I went to Dave and Buster's for my 21st. I played this game and then got wasted. By the end of the night, from all the squatting and drinking, my legs were so weak that I fell off the curb in down town Pittsburgh and into the street... drunk as hell. This memory alone would force me to buy this game if it were released for the Wii... and that damnable balance board.

Police 911 was badass and damn it would be cool with the VR Head Tracking.

On a side note: every time I hear this game the first thing that pops in my head is Reno 911. I still think it would work - Reno Police 911. Gun play and Comedy.
