PS3 Netflix discs are a shipping!

Heya folks, longtime no talk.

Short blog I suppose. Anyway, it looks like the PS3 Netflix discs are ready to ship. I should be getting mine tomorrow, which is usually pretty accurate. I'm still not sure exactly how these things will work, but, hell I can always use another system that has netflix. So, watch your mailbox if you ordered these, you'll be streaming limited tv shows and movies in no time!

I just for the email too. But I'm wary of having the disc spinning for no reason, while the movie streams over the internet. I don't want to wear out my 60gig BC PS3 drive :(

I'm still excited to try it out. Netflix is truly worth the $8 (or $10 if you include blu-ray) for the one disc out+ unlimited streaming plan.

I can't wait to see how it works. I doubt it will carry the weight of features that the 360 has right now. In time though.

I got the e-mail too, and mine is likewise due for Friday. I'm eager to try it out. I have Netflix on my 360, but I'm wary of using it too much, lest I overheat the poor thing. :P

I'm Canadian... we apparently don't watch movies or TV. :(

(well, certainly not on the PS3 any way... no movie/TV show downloads, no access to Netflix or anything of that nature as yet).
