Heya folks, longtime no talk.

Short blog I suppose. Anyway, it looks like the PS3 Netflix discs are ready to ship. I should be getting mine tomorrow, which is usually pretty accurate. I'm still not sure exactly how these things will work, but, hell I can always use another system that has netflix. So, watch your mailbox if you ordered these, you'll be streaming limited tv shows and movies in no time!

Wow.. Merry Christmas everyone! I know, a little late, but I've been slacking. Anywho, this was a gift for my brother for Christmas. I totally get a kick out of repainting the McFarlane Halo 3 figures, because... lets face it, they aren't very smooth. Introducing the Shadow Hayabusa Armor.



I start by taking the entire thing apart... every. single. part. I use a hair dryer to soften the pastic, and pop out every joint. Then after that is done, I separate the joints from the armor pieces, and give each armor piece 2 coats of primer, followed by 3 coats of base (in this case black) and then 2 coats of Crystal Clear finish.

I let that dry for about 2 days total, and then go back and put everything back together, using a hair dryer to soften the plastic. After two days, the paint is totally dry, so the hair dryer and the softening plastic won't ruin the paint job.

Once its back together, I go in a do all the detail work, in this case, the red highlights, and the Red wash over top of the black. I don't need to put another coat of Clear on it, since the parts painted are small enough, and unless you are taking a knife to them, the paint won't lift.

from hollywoodreporter.com Twentieth Century Fox is bringing the Japanese anime TV series "Cowboy Bebop" to the big screen, with Keanu Reeves attached to star as a bounty hunter traveling through space in 2071.

Reeves will be playing Spike Spiegel, a bounty hunter and former member of a crime syndicate. Spiegel, along with Jet Black, a fellow bounty hunter and former cop, are the two pilots of the spaceship Bebop.

Peter Craig is writing the script.

The show, which first aired on Tokyo TV and satcaster Wowow during the late 1990s, is strongly influenced by Jazz music (thus the "bebop").

Reeves' association with the project leaked in the summer when Fox and 3 Arts Entertainment began the process of acquiring the rights from Sunrise Studios.

Erwin Stoff, Reeves' longtime manager, is producing through 3 Arts. Joshua Long will serve as executive producer.

Sunrise president Kenji Uchida, the TV series' director of animation, Shinichiro Watanabe, and series writer Keiko Nobumoto will serve as associate producers. Series producer Masahiko Minami will serve as production consultant.

Although I'm thoroughly happy that Cowboy Bebop is coming to the silver screen in live format, and that the TV Series director and other producers from the original sunrise project are envolved in it.... Keanu Reeves... really? REALLY?

MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL!

This is a quick blog about a custom gift I made my bro. Same design as the Birthday skull, but with some alternate paint schemes and a matte finish. Technically the "Hardest Skull to find", my brother will now find it without jumping through a ton of gigantic glowing rings while fighting flood.



In the next day or so, I'll also post up the custom halo figure I finished. I think it looks damn sweet...another gift for Matt.
