In the modern times, people, especially the younger people, they will get dowm to play games if they have free time. So we can say, video game takes up a very big space in our daily life. But I am now wondering, what did people do in the ancient times?
Of course, there was no video games in the old days. But they still felt very satisfied and happy. I am sure there were less so-called psycho as in nowadays, and I guess they didn;t have so much worries and pressure as we do today.
Have you ever count how much time do you spend on video games? Okay, now please think about how much time did you spend on doing sports, staying with your parents and lover? Will video games make you a potato?Does it affect your study?
One of my classmate in college, he is very diffident and seldom talks to strangers. He also seldom joins the activities of our class, his greatest hobby is playing videogame, especially WoW.One point I should mention is he would attend every class when he was a freshman. Later, he induldged himself into video game and gradually disappeared in our eyes.
Does video game do no good to us?
The answer is absolutely not.
In the game, you can feel the faith of cooperation, for example, you fight together and leveling together. And perhpas you will also learn how to help others from the game.
Haha, there is one thing we should never forget, that is love in the game. I have a friend, she got to know her boyfriend by playing video games, The first time the boy saw her, he told her, we must be together forever......Haha, it feel good, right?
I know there are a lot of good things about playing video games that you can figure out, hehe..... just enjoy the games, but don¡¯t leave the virtual world behind you.

Yes.
In regards to your blog, I also get the impression that you are very young. Back in ancient times, long before the invention of video games (or fire) back when I was young, kids were just as psycho and we had just as many worries and pressure (as in nuclear holocast!).
I do agree that socialization is MUCH different nowadays. Back in the stone age, we only knew kids from our neighborhood or school and when they moved, snail mail made communication difficult so friendships often dissolved (and long distance calls were just too expensive). Gaming and the internet allows for friendships that span great distances and for people to maintain relationships that might have been lost when people moved. Essentially, the world is much, much smaller now.
I do think that we were more active back then. I grew up on military bases and still remember all the kids went out to play between school and dinner time. We built forts, caught and raced frogs, played Red Rover and war games, spy games... and now kids do all this in a virtual world. Unfortunately the world has also changed and people no longer know their neighbors - they can't stick their 10 year old girls out in the neighborhood and tell them to "go play" without adult supervision because of predators and other dangers.
I have to say that this is one of the reasons why I highly approve of consoles like the Wii for kids. It can allow kids to play together in a more active sense and recapture some of that "play" that I remember from my own youth - but in a safe environment.
