FFCC: Crystal Bearers new trailer looks AMAZING and EPIC!
flamesofchaos | 10:22 AM on 01.28.2009 13 comments

For the people who don't want to spend 40 dollars on FF:CC Echoes of Time for Wii, this is the trailer to the game every body wants.

It seems like this is a proper way to make an Action RPG on the Wii while making use of the Wii's strengths especially with pointer controlled telekenesis. If you can you should watch the HD quality version where it's less blurry. After playing Infinite Undiscovery I was worried about an Action RPG from Square-Enix but after this trailer, THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING! Man if third parties actually put some effort in a Wii game the results can be phenomenal.

For the lazy here are some few notes:
- Action-RPG gameplay
- Hot graphics
- Telekineses mechanic for battle/puzzles
- Lots of story and voice
- Sweet harmonica music
- Motion QTE scenes (maybe like RE4?)

I like the one on the Gamecube alot some of the enviroments were and still are amazing looking. I had alot of fun with it, if I had a Wii I would be all over this.

Came here just to post this! I cannot actually believe that I just watched that.

Not because it looks SO INCREDIBLE, but rather because it actually looks. Like I can see it.

This is just strange...A Trailer...for FFCC:CB....Does not compute.

Anyway- awesome. Why does this even have the CC brand on it? Could just be a totally new IP..Ah- answered my own question there.

God I'm so happy, I JUST KEEP TYPING

Wow, that...actually...didn't look too bad.

I really like it too. Gameplay and graphics look promising, and I liked the first CC for the gamecube, so i'm very hopeful.

@Perri I think they are using the FF:CC brand because it's established on Nintendo consoles now and I think they want to build on the story with the different races and what not.

Also it's pretty cool how different this Final Fantasy series is compared to the traditional Final Fantasy. I'm happy it exists because I lost interest in the main line Final Fantasy games after FF:VI.

That's quite unlike anything they've ever done before. Some of it looked really interesting and some of it didn't, but hey, my interest is finally peaked.

Ya, I understand the branding. I'm glad it's so different though. Cannot wait to see how the pointer based magic works. This actually looks like something different.

Loving the Confident Super hero character type as well.

Could this turn into what the Force Unleashed should/could have been?
