A new developer joins Nintendo's ranks

The company is Project Sora, if you wondering why that name rings a bell is because Sakurai has a company by the name of Sora. According to the press release it's apparently a separate company from the original Sora Ltd. Established in Tokyo with Sakurai as director of software development. Nintendo holds the majority stake, Sora has the rest.

So it's really interesting to see a joint venture from Iwata and one of his former employees Sakurai. And now we can only wonder what Nintendo's plan is going to be with this new developer.

And as of now they are hiring to fill that new company with:

Game producers
3D Character Artists
3D Character Motion Artists
3D Map Artists
Sound Artists
Game Planner
