NVGR. But VG inspired?(tiny blog with a drawing)

i was bored at work today and i was just starting to sketch a little and came out with this some what video game influenced picture. i was gonna do some sorta wizards and warriors thing. but i wasnt sure what else to do so i just filled the screen with a cave monster hiding in his cave.

i rarely draw much anymore and thought it came out ok.. i usually use pen or just pencil. i seem to dig the 3 color pen the most.just red, blue,, and black.

im not a big fan of scanning and then digitally editing my pictures and adding color.if anyone wants to try and add some real colors feel free, just post the result in the comments.

also why does it auto re-size pics to 620 pixels when the actual width of the blog is 550 pixels? FIX THAT CRAP PLEASE! or is there something i can do?
or just check the full sized one below.

I'm tempted to try coloring this. It's pretty hilarious looking and I agree with Saintrising, the facial expression is hilarious. You're pretty talented.

Something about the faces and style really reminds me of what western retro games were like (in a good way).

remove "x620" from the image and change it to "no-scale" or "noscale" ...dont remember if it uses the hyphen or not

This is the most literal interpretation of "cave monster" I've ever seen.

Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?

Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!

i play my games.
i like to buy games and never trade them in. i may not have a huge collection but all the games i have i enjoy playing.

i dont care which systems the games are on.
i have had or still have odyssey, coleco, atari, NES, SNES, N64, TG-16, genesis, master system, dreamcast, game boy, ps1, ps2, ps3, psp, and xbox 360.

i like to draw robots. i think that is why i was so attracted to Destructoid from the beginning.

i just want to play games. is that so wrong?

i first started with the odyssey at my grandmothers house(i was maybe 3-5 years old). "pick axe pete" was my first game. along with "take the money and run". and the race car game.
