About Me
Hey. I graduated from a crappy Art school that taught me nothing. I work at a Web place and basically update peoples websites from the early 90's.
I've been gaming since sine the Atari 2600. Unfortunetly, my family was not blessed with the best financial situation so over the years I could only get one console per generation. Fate dealt me a NES, Sega Genesis, N64, GC & PS2, now all three. Plus all the Nintendo handhelds to date.
I sadly never owned a SNES but played it a lot at a friends growing up.

I like action/adventure games for the most part. FPS's tend to get played alot also. Every so often a good RPG sucks me in.
I used to consider my self good a rhythm games (Freq & Amplitude FTW) but I don't play as much as I used to. I'm sure every 10 year old kid out there can 100% expert blindfolded these days.

I just unwillingly put 60 hours into Fallout and I'm not done yet.
I just started Lost Odyssey and I fear for my free time.

I'm tired I'll write more later.

Sam & Max The Animated Series
falinter | 2:19 PM on 03.05.2008 16 comments

So I went into work today to sell my soul at old Best Buy and I was putting DVDs away on the shelfs and what do I come across but none other than a Sam and Max DVD!

I went to go check the release date and it turns out that I can legally sell it to people on March 11th! Normally, I wouldn't post about this (as you can see I don't post often at all) but this excited me because I personally loved Hit The Road when I was little I would play it constantly.

A few years ago I tried to emulate it because I relealized I never beat it back in the day and I couldn't install it on my newer machine. Never got that to work so I've been thinking about getting into the Episodes that have been putting out. This dvd release has peaked my interests again and I am going to download the first few this weekend.

What I want to know is what the animated series is all about. Anyone got any insight into that? Maybe I will want to pick that up too. We only have two copies in the store so already they are going fast.

I saw that years ago, it's a bit dumbed down for kids, but it still great for the fans of Sam & Max and it's really entertaining, I say that anyone who see it in a DVD shelf, buy it!

Holy cow! I remember watching that along with the Earthworm Jim cartoon when I was younger. I don't really remember much about it apart from that I loved it! but I was kid back then and probably an even more stupid one than most but I say it's awesome and I was really into Earthworm Jim and that still kicks arse so how bad can this be? not that bad so I recon you should buy it!

I plan on buying this and the Surfin' the Highway reprint off of Amazon in a few weeks. Here's an episode, check it out and see what you think. They also have a bunch of episodes available on GameTap if you have that.

I used to watch that. It's how I was introduced to them. That, The Tick, Freakazoid, and (to a lesser extent) Big Guy & Rusty were the best underappreciated cartoons ever. I must get this!

Yes, that was a good television series. Have fun with that.

I'm waiting for Mysterious Cities of Gold, myself. :O)

Thanks, maybe I can finally get past that part I was stuck on in Day of the Tentacle.

I had a bad not-finish-a-game habit when I was younger.

I loved the animated series but never played the games -- beyond the SCUM stuff I've never been a big point and click guy...bad experience with a shitty Sherlock Homes game on the old family Mac.
