I love XKCD. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out: xkcd It is a very sharp web comic for nerds with a lot of humor that goes over my head at first glance. This, however, I must comment upon:

This is an obvious reference to Penny Arcade. If you don't recognize this...you're at the wrong website. I applaud the drawing and the good-natured jab, but the accuracy of the information will not stand. To start, "Seiken Densetsu" was not an SNES game in 1995. It was released in America as "Final Fantasy Adventure" for the Gameboy in 1991. This seemingly trivial knowledge is important to me because "Secret of Mana" (or "Seiken Densetsu II", if you're nasty) is one of the greatest games ever made. My brother and I went through it (as the Sprite and the Hero, respectively) in 1995, 2 years after its American release...in 1993. This may seem inane, but it was a big part of who I am today as a gamer.

Sadly, I've never played the aforementioned "Seiken Densetsu". I should probably make that happen.

...and that ends my nerdy, fanboy rant.
