A Worthy Follow-Up to Remote Masseuse
entrager | 10:29 AM on 08.12.2009 37 comments

My sophomore XBox Live Indie Game has been released. It's very unfortunate for Agent MOO that my release came out at the same time as his. Agent MOO, I apologize for the dramatic impact it will have on your sales. Just don't come asking for reparations.

The trailer says it all.

UPDATE
Apparently I didn't make it clear enough that this is a joke. Yes, it exists. Yes, I hope people buy it. Should it exist? Probably not.

There's a story behind it though. I was actually working on a series of drinking games for XBLIG. I made a menu screen that looked like beer. I scrapped the project due to a lack of available time, but decided to release just the menu background when MS made it possible to release 80 point games.

Don't like it? Don't buy it.

Thanks to Brad (and his pecs) for the Remote Masseuse Review
entrager | 3:58 PM on 08.06.2009 8 comments

I already emailed him, but I wanted to publicly thank Brad for the Remote Masseuse review. It's a shame you didn't like it, but you were doing it wrong.

As I mentioned in the comments for the review, I'll post a redemption code here for every 10 diggs the review gets. So get on it fellow Dtoiders!

And for your entertainment, I found this by Google image searching "remote masseuse".

L4D2 Feature Request: Dogs That Can't Look Up
entrager | 4:58 PM on 07.31.2009 9 comments

How bad-ass would it be if L4D2 included zombie animals? I want to see a special infected dog that can't look up. You can avoid it by staying on higher ground.

That is all. I'll go back hiding/posting exclusively about Remote Masseuse now.

I found this image by Google image searching "dogs can't look up"...

Remote Masseuse: iPhone Edition
entrager | 9:33 AM on 05.26.2009 17 comments

I'm surprised it made it through Apple's approval process. But, finally, 3 weeks after originally submitting it to Apple, the iPhone version of Remote Masseuse came out on Friday. Get it here! What do you have to lose, your dignity? $1? It's only $1 you cheap bastard, buy it! While you're at it, buy the XBox 360 version too. I'm a whore.

Want to know more? Check out remotemasseuse.com. Yes, it exists. I know... it's sad.

I don't feel terribly compelled to write about it at the moment. It may be worth noting that this is the first XBox Live Community Game to make the transition to iPhone. At least as far as I know it is. It's also the first iPhone app from the Dtoid community... again, as far as I know.

My Interview on Dead Pixel Live
entrager | 12:53 PM on 04.07.2009 5 comments

The interview yesterday went very well. If anyone cares to hear it, download it here or get episode 230 of Dead Pixel Live on iTunes. My interview begins at right around 1 hour and 6 minutes into the recording.

I think the host's intention in having me on was to mostly vent about how horrible it is that Remote Masseuse and other apps are outselling pretty much every game on the XBox Live Community Games. Turns out I agree with him, and we had a really great interview. I even ended up convincing him that there's room on the XBox for both apps and games, if only Microsoft would help facilitate that.

Hear Me On Dead Pixel Live Tonight
entrager | 3:15 PM on 04.06.2009 2 comments

I'll be doing an interview on Dead Pixel Live tonight at 7:30 EST. Officially the topic is Remote Masseuse, but I'm sure we'll end up talking about XBox Live Community Games in general. The host of the show has a game out himself, Revenge of the Ball, and spent much of last week complaining about the service.

If anyone isn't familiar with Dead Pixel Live (I have no idea how many listeners they get, they seem to have a pretty large audience), it's broadcast live Monday-Thursday from 6:30-8:30 EST. It's a pretty damn solid show. I'd recommend you give it a listen, and not just because I'm going to be on it.

Feel free to post questions or requests in the comments, I'll do my best to work them in.
