I think they are retarded for doing that. But they are catering probably to the people who bought SR and don't like GTA. Not necessarily to the people that bought GTA.
I don't have a problem with what THQ did...I actually thought it was sort of funny. More power to them if they have the balls to smack GTA IV upside the head.
It was lame, but I still want the game.
I think it was fair of them to do especially because I think Saint's Row 2 looks like a hell of a lot more fun than GTAIV is.
I also think this was front paged AND cblogged about a half dozen times already. Yesterday.

It looks like fun and a very different experience from what GTA has to offer. Of course, what they aren't saying is that they probably won't have the depth of character or plot that GTA IV has. I'll probably check it out when it hits the bargain bin, just as I did with the first game.
I found it very funny myself, and it has made me want that game much more than GTA.
