Okay. It took me approximately 6 hours to download the 900 something megabyte demo of Heavenly Sword, one of the "selling points" of the Lexus of video game consoles known as the Playstation 3. Let's do some math, shall we? 6 hours to download + 10 minutes of gameplay < 2 minutes of God of War I or II. I'm begging anyone, please...make my PS3 purchase worthwhile.

While I agree the demo is less than impressive and rather short, six hours? It only took me maybe 30 to 40 minutes. Maybe the store was busy with the news the demo was up I guess.

The demo is rather short, the animation seems a bit sluggish/jumpy or something (not as fluid as I would have hoped), and the opening rope sequence IMMEDIATELY reminded me of GoW. Some people have been saying this demo is based off the code from a year ago, but I don't see why any dev would do that. I mean, why show off something old if you have improved upon it?

All in all, If you don't like your PS3, sell it on Ebay. I'm sure there's someone ready to take it off your hands to enjoy some current and upcoming titles. I personally bought my PS3 knowing that GT5 would one day, hopefully in this decade, come out for the black box. And other stuff will be good down the road too, I'm sure of it.

You could even use the money you get from selling the console to buy a 360 or Wii if you don't already have one!

Late.

Also, demo should have been longer for a 996mb demo, regardless if it took 30 minutes or 30 hours.

They definitely skewed some views of alot of people on Heavenly Sword, partially including mine.

What does this actually have to do with the game? It seems that your more upset about your PS3 than Heavenly Sword. besides it was a FREE DEMO what are you complaining about? I just played it like 10 times and I loved it.

P.S. do you know what the word demo actually means?

It doesn't look THAT bad.

That's kind of how I felt about Blacksite's demo on the 360.

Maybe I am a little bitter about my download times, but I know what a demo is. A demo is something that is supposed to impress/make me want to buy a game. This did neither.

Took me about 35 min. Install another 5 min. I played those 2 minutes for about 1 hour before I stopped. This game is one of the reasons I got a PS3. At first I thought it was just a button masher, but the fighting system actually has a lot of depth to it.

One thing I didn't like, was the whole "shake your controller" to do this move thing. There needs to be a move practice room like in Soul Caliber where you can see what you pushed and when so you know how sensitive the "shaking" is and also to give you practice on a particular move.

It was short. It was a big download. It was very pretty. It's at the top of my list.
