Okay, this was originally a lot longer and sounded like it was a canned confessional about how great this service is. Whatever... If any of you guys use Netflix or a similar service then you know how good it is. In any event, if you're interested, follow this link and sign up. If you do, it helps me out and I get kickbacks when/if enough of you sign up stay on as paying members for at least two months or if you're thinking "fuck this guy and his bullshit, I'm not helping him out," you could just sign up normally...

I did the free one month trial and my complaints were

1) too expensive

2) too long turnaround (1 week in both directions?)

I prefer gametap for now.

Yeah, it' could turn out to be expensive if there's nothing that you want to play and I guess it depends on your location for turn around; I've got a turn around time of about two or three days. However, they just opened up a shipping depot in PA so turn around time should be about the same for every one. I tried out Gametap and although I like the concept, there's really nothing stopping me from using an emulator to play those games for free.

about me

I'm a bit of a MySpace whore; hit up my profile over here but make sure to let me know that you've found me via Destructiod.

Currently have all all major home consoles since the 5th generation (i.e. PSX, SAT, N64) and have been gaming since the release of NES back in '86. I've always been fairly platform agnostic, but I'm becoming increasingly more apathetic towards Microsoft's console as the days go by. I'm surprised by how well the Wii has been performing and I'm waiting for the PS3 to gain more momentum.
