Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
But, the posting regulars at the site will generally get a little twisty about such frequent, light on content posts. Since everything you post in a C-Blog (Community, Blog) hits the front page immediately, people like to see things there of substance (Longer reviews, different from normal opinions, pretty pictures). Otherwise, the effect is that your light-on-content post pushes down posts of people that put lots and lots of effort into a high quality blog post.
Atheistium, ThisYearsPink, Yoj1mb0, Thefil (sort of), and the early works of Conrad Zimmerman are examples of posters that clearly put a good amount of effort into their posts, and contribute interesting stuff to the site through the C-Blogs.
Soooo, its not because you're ten, specifically.
Make a note to yourself... when comments are longer than your actual blog, thats bad.
GTFO.
Well TUBATIC, to tell you the truth I was trying to keep it short because I thought the exact opposite, guess I was wrong, I'll be longer winded and content heavy next time.
I know what I'm talking about...when I talk(which won't be often), but you can't tell yet because I'm new here, so thanks for not judging me just yet.
I won't be posting too often because I just don't have that urge to tell everyone what I think all the time, I did it just now to test the waters and have one up there. The Wii and it's life aren't too particularly important to me, but your right, that was just an opinion. Which I guess is not what blogs are for? Anyway, the Wii IMO could use a kick-ass engine(perhaps a modified Doom3 engine, it worked on the xbox, it's relatively the same hardware), which it doesn't have right now. The DS needs one more than the Wii does, so it can actually have anti-aliasing in a 3D environment(and perhaps better textures?), I'm just saying.
So, I guess this may be long winded enough for you, dunno, but hey, w/e!
btw, thnx for makin me feel so welcome. 'preciate it!
