What's up? In case you haven't found out yet, I'm Brandon. I'm a new member of DToid and this is my first blog post.
I'd like to brush on a topic which I'm sure countless others are just now beginning to realize, along with myself. The advancement of gaming consoles is becoming ridiculous. They keep becoming more and more expensive, and while I have to admit the new upgrades are awesome, they are just TOO EXPENSIVE. Whatever happened to games in the good ol' days where games were cheaper (by the time you buy three for a new console nowadays you've already paid for your system over again)? It seems like these manufacturers keep pumping out new, upgraded, and more expensive hardware, and are more concerned with money than actual customer satisfaction. It is obvious that they are just trying to make advancements before the next guy can to make more money. In my opinion, quality games and consoles are not worth sacrificing for unstable "upgrades" and low-quality gameplay for better graphics. I think I'll just stick with the PC. At least it has more variety and more common ground when it comes to games and stable platforms.
More variety? You mean like 'generic first person shooter A' or 'generic real time strategy B'? That's why I stopped playing PC games, I got sick to death of those two genres. Honestly, I play my DS Lite more than either my Xbox 360 or Wii, probably even combined. Something about collecting Pokémon is appealing, now let me show you them.
anyways..
i think most game u can running in no-last generations machines, but they put certain "thing" to game´s programming to request last gen machine...
take for example the various psp gamez running in 3.40, but in the box say "3.71 requerired (sp? )"....
I'm sorry, PANZERDRAKO, I actually meant for that (#4) comment of mine towards 007. And I wasn't being sarcastic. Thank you all for your comments. I appreciate them.

Yes. Yes it is. Also, PC gaming has alot of upgrades involved with it too. Look at Crysis. Graphic card upgrades can be expensive too. I also have to agree with Lord_S. There just isn't alot of variety in the games you can get on PC. And no Phoenix Wright.

about me
I play any kind of games that are fun. My most current console is the Wii, which in my opinion has decent games as far as gameplay. I'm considering not buying any more consoles and just sticking with the PC platform because many quality games that come out on some consoles seem to also come out for PC, so what is the point of me buying a new, upgraded, console every couple of years when everything can be organized into one, central platform? I also particularly like the mouse/keyboard controls.

Dude, video game consoles have always been expensive. Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo? $200 at launch. And all they did "back then" was play games.
Also, welcome. Decent first blog.
Interesting. I'd like to see these Pokeymanz.
nice ghost post!...
