I don't think that thing every really worked right anyway. It's kind of in the same group as the Nintendo Power Glove, it worked, but at the absolute minimum amount possible.

I remember this one thing from the Genesis/SNES era, they claimed that it would make you feel every punch and explosion. But in reality it was just a subwoofer in an incredibly uncomfortable plastic case you wore like a backpack.
