I'd love it but I doubt it will happen. Redrawing those gorgeous sprites would cost soooo much manpower dollars. I doubt they'd be able to recoup the costs. I sincerely hope I'm wrong though.

Some of the stuff is beautiful, other things look cheap. But then again, it doesn't have professional polish and is fan made.

I don't really see an "HD" version practical, but just an MvC2 style thing maybe. I guess. Maybe with some HDRemix type of rebalancing.
