Announcement!

Late Dec/early Jan EventHubs, Shoryuken, Capcomunity, and (JUST ADDED) DESTRUCTOID will collide!!!

SF4 and HD Remix is on the table gentlemen. Oh yeah, most (if not all) the games will be played on the 360.

It seems like it will be 5 vs 5 style battles as seen on the "5 ON 5 Regionals" at EVO. Here are the rules.

Now here's the bad news, spots are already filled for SF4.

Me and KD think we should make the 5th slot go to the winner in a mini tourney for it. We'll see.

Now the good news for you folks that wear the retro googles on way too tight! :P

HD Remix Players:

ALL SPOTS OPEN!(sorta)

The sorta part? There's a few people I know that don't have to try out due to being beasts. Cataract and Smurfee mcgee have a spot if they want it. Senisan too. Stella has a free pass since her Honda is dangerous. If we are hard pressed for good players I'll get in there with my Ken. But I want to leave this game for people who play it a lot more than I do.

Incidentally Dtoid has just started a SF4 tournament. While making what I think is a retarded move by putting it on the PC (thus closing up the tourney finals to the few Dtoiders who have SF4 on the PC and randoms who will prolly just leave after its over.), it'll be good practice for the few who play on the PC.

Which is just Danro, Cataract, and Wedge I think. Also, I could be wrong about everything in that last paragraph.

Oh wow those rules I posted are off.

The 5 on 5 will be tweaked so that winner doesn't stay, so everyone has a chance to fight. So if you win, you basically wait at the end of you team's line.

And right now I think teams will be able to have 2 of the same characters.

Zoel, or anyone that wants to get on the 5th slot, feel free to message me on XBL, we will figure out the best one out you dudes eventually.

the only fighting game I have bought this generation is VF5 and nobody wants to play that in tournaments on destructoid.

SF4 should be going platinum this week, which means I might end up getting it again. I'll let you know if I do, because that list is seriously lacking some Honda. Also, are we limited to choosing only one character, and we have to stick with them the entire time?

I'm a 17 year old Mexican American. My name is Hector.

My gaming started at my local money laundering sport's bar/restuarant. They had some arcade Machines like Metal Slug 3, Puzzle Bobble, and My favorite Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter.

But sadly the place is under new, anti-gaming, management that foolishly THREW away those machines at the local dump... I was planning to buy MSH Vs. SF from them. :'[

I had a Sega Genesis(Mega Drive), but the only game I had was *le sigh* Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers:The Movie:The game...

Soon after I purchased the N64, I never heard of Zelda those days, for shame I'm sure. Just ended up playing Smash Bros. and a game called WAR GODS, I loved it. Looking back now, WAR GODS was utter shit.

Then I bought a PS2, That's when "I got into gaming"...I guess that's the best way to phrase that?

Now I'm playing with the 360. It's fun. I share my 360 with my gf and 3 of our friends.
