3+ years and Dtoid still can't upgrade their site without fucking everything up.
Some of us don't give a fuck about the front page(well ok Sundays with Sagat is pretty good, so is anything Kauza writes) or the C-blogs. Some of us like traversing the forums for our distractions. But for some reason we're just not worth it anymore by the looks of it. And now every time I click a link on this site Avast keeps telling me to waste my time elsewhere, but god fucking dammit I've made cool friends here that are perfect for shooting the shit with. Please Dtoid, me and you have an enabling relationship. Now enable me to use your forums.
Oh, and pork chop sandwiches was funny 3 years ago when I was high.

I think Dtoid it's very segmented. Not a bad thing, at all. Some people like be on the IRC Channel, other just comment on the front, even some only read the front page.
Personally, I hang out with the Steamtoid guys, and I know that barely anyone here knows of his existance, but I'm happy there.
Well let's forget I made this post(on a blog where I can post anything I want as long as it adheres to rules at anytime I damn well please) to point out a legitimate concern a lot of Dtoiders have, because you came in here all chested out since you hold the C-blogs so dear to your heart.

Fuck back at GameSpot, a site far better funded than Dtoid, all they tried to do was change the sizes for avatars and that one update ended up sending thousands of accounts into oblivion.
I mean granted I don't use the forums, historically speaking the forums and I don't get along, but if you really think they're lying when they say they're trying to do you a favor by upgrading their shit for you I can only imagine what happens when, say, an ice cream store runs out of your favorite flavor.
Just be patient. Shit's fucked up yes, shit's gotten fucked up a few times this week over here in the C-Blogs too, but if you really think Niero and crew are just dicking around with the sole intent of ruining your day that's kind of paranoid.
I mean that's my two cents I guess. But again I'm not a forumite. I use the C-Blogs. I know things do happen faster on forums whereas over here you're not missing much if the blogs are down for a few hours since you don't see much activity in so short a time frame.

It'd be nice if the forums become adapted for mobile devices once it comes back up. Blogs and front page are optimized. Forums use the. Desktop version.

The forums are great for their specific function, as are the c-blogs. But trying to dilute the blogs to be more like the forums... that's kind of the worst of both worlds. Someone said, why not everyone just treat one blog as a bar until the forums return so it doesn't look like yiz're pissing on your bloggy comrades.
