Gradius ReBirth is Really Awesome
mr spooky | 5:06 AM on 10.01.2008 4 comments

I just recently played some Gradius ReBirth and it is awesome as Mega Man 9. Gamers need to try this game out now. I know it's not released yet in North America which feels wrong to wait so long. I know a lot of video game did not come to North America because being odd or strange (sex appeal, etc). The Retroforce GO crew would probably love to play this and talk about it on a future show. Wiki info wiki info about Gradius ReBirth. Gradius is shoot 'em up or shumps whatever you like to call it. The game feels like a in between 8 bit to 16 bit it just looks good. Gradius is a WiiWare game similar to what Capcom did with Mega Man 9. It cost 1000 Wii points to purchase this game. I did a few times in the beginning because I made a mistake which makes it hard to the end of the stage. I have been trying to get into a few shoot 'em ups. I just wondering if Galaga remix edition is coming to other consoles or not?

"features two modes: a standard game with unlimited credits and a Score Attack mode where players are only given a single credit to beat the game."

Hori Fighting Stick Wii
$70 bucks which is too much pay for. The best way to enjoy this game and others is an arcade joystick. I don't have one for my wii except 2 joystick for my ps2 and one for the old nintendo (nes). I recently played Salamander (Life Force) for old nes with arcade stick and it play well. That old nes game is sort part of the Gradius series. The fire level is to hard to stay alive but with konami code it works easily. I just thought about it right now what if the Konami Code works with Gradius ReBirth, I haven't tried it yet, but later today I will.

Topher Cantler loves shmups to infinity play. This Gradius game is hard as MegaMan 9, but mega man 9 is getting more easy for me don't ask me about the crazy achievements (such as 30th time beat MM 9). I here Topher talks about shumps on Retroforce GO show particular on dreamcast game (Radiant Silvergun, Geometry Wars, R-Type, Raiden, Donpachi, and especially Ikaruga).

Damn, that really does look good. Not that I have a Wii sadly, though I have been playing Megaman 9 on the 360 today. I loved the part where the lasers tore up the level to make way for the boss-fight. Hopefully it's a little more forgiving than Treasure's Gradius V!
