About dTunes:
dTunes originally started as a blog in which I would showcase a new band every week. Soon, I moved on to themes. Every video was meant to be suggested by the community, the themes too. Unfortunately, my own personal tastes kept getting in the way. This time I intend to pick a community member from the Google Group that I made (send me your email if you want in) and let them post their favorite music for a week. By getting rid of the middle man (me) I intend on bringing to life my initial image of dTunes, a place where the community can enrich itself and create a better understanding on the individual members of the community by exploring their personal tastes.
Sunday night I made a comittment to post one dTunes blog a day, every weekday of this week. Yesterday I failed that goal. Krow, you're an asshole! Yep! Today I bring you my final day. dTunes Day 4 + 5, My Brightest Diamond and the big finish. Continue on to learn of my leanings towards high-pitched female songtresses and a wonderful surprise at the end.
My Brightest Diamond
Album: A Thousand Sharks Teeth
Such a wonderful album. A Thousand Sharks Teeth is the second release by My Brightest Diamond, moving away from the more rock oriented first ablum, whose name currently escapes me. Instead, the group puts the spotlight on the sounds of a string quartet and and emphasis on vocals. I've got to say folks, this is good music. Really good. Continue on to listen in on the wonderfulness.
Destructoid is an open discussion community. You don't need to "audition" to post a comment - just speak your mind. We respect differing opinions on the site, so have at it. Be smart, funny, insightful, clueless, or cute -- but back it up with substance. Keep your cool, keep it fun. We only ask that you act respectfully and above all: don't be a troll and ruin it for everyone else. Don't bring down gamers or we'll, you know, gently shoot you in the face and stuff you into a flaming mailbox. Each comment is your opportuntity to make this community awesomer. Is that even a word?
Avoiding the banhammer only requires common sense: spamming, trolling, racism, NSFW stuff, and other forms of sucking will not be tolerated. If anyone is griefing please report abuse. Be good. Don't suck!
